Newton RUFC will have the rescheduled Wez Turner Memorial Game

Newton RUFC will finally have a celebration of the life of Wez Turner this weekend.
After the lose of a great friend to the club, each year we band together with friends and family to celebrate the wonderful life of Wez Turner.
This years memorial the game was unfortunately cancelled so we have rescheduled for the 28th September. The Turner family are still engrained in to the fabric of the club with Wez's Brother involved in the coaching set up and Wez's Nephew Jacob part of the 1st XV.
The Turner Family invite you all to come celebrate this Saturday (28th Sept) at the club.
Newton RUFC Season Starts With a Home Walk Over

Newton RUFC started the season with the disappointment of the Wez Turner Memorial Match being called off as Oldershaw were unable to field a team.
With Olsershaw not being able to field a team, Newton will take the points so technically start the year with a win.
It has yet to be decided if we will reschedule the Memorial Match designation.
Newton RUFC will now travel to Wallasey next Saturday to hopefully finally take the field in for the 24/25 season.
